Music with Room 4 & Resa by Eliza
Yesterday on Monday me and Room 4 went to the hall for jellybean music with Resa. When we went in the hall we all sat down on the floor of the side of the hall because Resa was with a different class. When they were done I helped Resa put some stuff away so that we could start some music. When we all sat down Resa said hello everybody in a music way. Then we said hello Resa in a music way too.
Then Resa told me and Room 4 that we all carry an instrument that is our own voice. Our voice is really special because it contacts other people so that’s why our voice is special like how you're so special in your own way and like your family. When Resa was done with telling us about our voice we did a song called sailor. Sailer is a song that we do with our glockenspiel. We follow Resa like instructions except that we can’t read Resa like a book. When Resa was done teaching us we all lined up and said goodbye because it was lunch time. I also like music because it’s my talent just like singing with myself. But I’m always scared when I sing in front of people.Eliza - Fantastic use of time words. Thank you for sharing your personal experience of music so beautifully.

ReplyDeleteAwesome Eliza,
ReplyDeleteI can tell from your writing that you really enjoy music. Especially the part where you make the connection with how special your voice is.
Keep singing and sharing your special talent Eliza!

Kia ora Eliza,
ReplyDeleteWe really like the interesting words you used for your writing. Is that you in the photo? We have a glockenspiel in our class too. Some of us know how to play in the jungle.
